Bike incident insurance

Hi,
I was involved in a car incidence.
I was sitting on my bike and the the guy forgot to put a hand brake on. He hit me and damaged my bike, and I think that he hurt me because it was 1 week ago and I can still feel a pain in my back and my neck.
I found a solicitor already for my health issue but I don't know how to claim for bike damage. I know the insurance company (RSA) and the policy number. What should I do?

Your solicitor should be able to advise you on this and deal with it as well if they're worth their salt. All your base are belong to us.0

Speak to your solicitor to see if they have an arrangement with an accident management company to deal with the repair side of things for you, or alternatively get them to ask the third party insurers to manage the repairs to your bike.0

Get a quote for the repairs and send a copy to RSA saying you hold their insured responsible and ask them to pay for the repairs and take it from their reply.0 -
Is this a motorbike or push bike?
If its the former the solicitor will get their kickback by referring you to an credit repair company and if its the later you'll be asked to get quotes and the solicitor will present it to the TPI for payment.0
