You Tube, have I been hacked?

I put up vids on my you tube, well tonight a friend on my you tube channel, told me that he received 15 videos in his private email from me of my latest vids I put up recently.

Not the email on the you tube channel, but his email that he used to join you tube with. I am confused as I told him I didnt even know anything about this or even how that could happen. Since when you send messages on you tube in private messages it will only go to another you tube member, not to their private email that they used to sign up you tube with.

Have I some how been hacked and some one has spammed out these vids to his personal email? I asked other friends that I know on my subscriptions and they have not received anything.

Has anyone any answers as I dont have any....

Google+, Gmail and Youtube are all very closely linked now. It's likely he has either a Google+ account or another Youtube account linked to your channel and that's why he's getting the notfiications.

No you are not hacked.
Like mentioned above. Google+, YouTube, Gmail are actually linked.
And if you haven't turned off the notifications in either accounts, you will get an email when a new video, comment or like comes to one of your subscriber.

I used to receive 100s of emails during the day regarding comments on one of my video or some video I liked.
I turned notification off.
