I have about 200 3v but the tills still allow you to top them up
If you see them in your store. Ask at CS is it ok to take them and top them up as you need them and my CS lady said it was fine. So I took them all.
Morning H, can I just check, did you mean 3V online visa sold in T (2 for £50, 150 cc bonus points) can be topped, not A gift cards?
3V are priced at £25 each and activate as such, I was not aware they could be topped up (and no value to do so if not getting the CC bonus points).
Many thanks

Yeah, the £25 ones. I would not bother with the ones you have topay to top up. I buy them to get the 150 points and then use them on amazon etc.0 -
Good morning QOC sorry you are still feeling not well ...have you not got any of that cough medicine you recommended to Nannylala last year as it certainly sorted my cough out:T:T
I haven't got anyand the worst thing is that I CBA to go to the chemist to get some - the one across the road from my house isn't open today and the next closest one that would have it is in the shopping centre up the road - my idea of the most hellish nightmare, the way I feel today
I'll pick some up tomorrow though

So you can add beyond the initial £25 till activation after you have activated the associated online visa? Or activate one for £50 when buying? I didn't realise that and must have got the wrong staff when I tried (only one card in store so asked for £50 to be added and they said it was not possible).is there a limit on them? Would be handy to recycle me the cards if possible given the low stocks.
Many thanks

Sorry, No.. you can only put on what the autual card says.. It will allow you to put more but in the old paper pp days it never worked and I lost a few quid, well tesco did lol might try it again tho. next time I do these, ill pm if it works.
I tried this.. put £25 on each card.. then went back and got another £25 put on it. it worked but the account only showed £25
I will try putting £25 on it.. then using it and then going back to put another £25 on it.0 -

I would think they have done a soft launch to change people over given different models in NI and elsewhere in UK. There is a potential marketing advantage being able to say they will match the prices at the till on Branded items (W brand match T, apart from deals, on branded). Odd they have dropped own brand in the process - perhaps the challenges involving S, M and A had encouraged them to be more cautious given they are never 100% equivalent (or actually they are, in many cases off the same production line).
They had to include a way of checking what prices they matched as that is where M fell foul on the ASA judgement.
Isn't S called Brand Match? We will have to change to SBM and TBM to differentiate on here.
It will take some getting used to - like if conditional spends are before or after the TBM and if MOCs are also pre or post TBM. As with all of these schemes, we will no doubt still work out glitches once it settles in. No point worrying about it though as it is going ahead whether we like it or not. Hopefully A will leave their APG system and scheme alone as they changed earlier in the year.
