Maybe the experts amongst us can tell us if Ts new system will have a mechanism whereby we can check on their 'refund at the till'? I can see it being complained about if there isn't one
That's what I worry about, just don't trust it.
Say joe public buys £20 of shopping which he knows would be £10 in Asda and at the till the total does not drop down to £10 then who does he complains to - the till girl will be the first one to get it in the ear, then SS will be called, delays at the till, disgruntled queues ...
Also say you have a £20 conditional spend if your basket drops below at the till you can't use it - so people will spend £25 to be in the safe side - eg more in Mr Ts coffers.
I thought the point of TPP s was that you had a voucher to spend so that encouraged return visits.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Will they try to dock the PP amount from your refund? (this is Tesco and their CS SA's we're talking about here.)
What about if the item you're returning was dearer in A and decreased your PP amount. Will they, lol, give you back the extra?:D;):rotfl:
Refunds sound like a nightmare - in my store they examine receipts and you have to explain every MOC and points voucher“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Whats the deal with new Price Promise then? Its changing to a more rubbish system?
Ok just read it... seems stll possible to pay pennies for things and get paid to take things away, so long as the glitch would work in the same way.0 -

Its more simple.. insted of the voucher they take the money off before you pay. I do think its a fairer system.
Maybe there own branded products are going to rise and thats why they have excluded them from this new one.0 -
But this has an August date on it“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Morning everyone.
I can't be the only one who thinks they have worked out the "pp glitch "
The fact that it is finishing the same time as vouchers are not issued at the till can only mean one thing to me and if I am right no wonder it hasn't been shared on here.
Very lucrative , probably very illegal and very much crosses the line for me.0
