Perfect result in GBBO - a very worthy winner and very moving words at the end.

Wasn't it just! I never would have thought a programme about making cakes could have been so emotional, I must confess I was in tears by the end!! Brilliant TV.

I've just come down from the real computer to lock up. I was writing ( I like to be sat at a proper desk when I'm writing) I'm writing the ultimate guide to life for DS2 :D in anticipation of any questions he might need answering when I'm not around to answer them. I got onto to people and thats a complicated chapter  for the best of us! I thought it was about 10.30pm oops :o

I asked him what he wanted for Christmas tonight. His answer was 'I think all my needs are covered at the moment so maybe just pay some money into my bank account and buy me some pyjamas, socks and chocolates to see on Christmas morning' :o:D.......unwrapped of course

I'm off to bed now my patient wait for the naughty dog to do his business anywhere other than my inside doormat is over.

I don't think I reported the great escape of last weekend? I stupidly left the gate to my magical corner open after having a fire and some fizz. Saturday morning I woke up to the sight of my dog trotting merrily up the other side of our street. After I retrieved him I wandered round the garden for ages scratching my head as to how he got out. it's properly Fort Knox is my garden

He took advantage of the open gate, got on the chair on the left, then up onto the log box in the middle and either chewed or just plain broke his way through the willow screening to scale the 4ft brick wall  there was a way out and he found it.

I need some new screening :o
