They should take you next time. One of this year's contestants taught baking to an after school club and I think the eldest contestant was outed as having baked for money.

I doubt anyone who does it at the required level hasn't been paid something at some point. Ingredients ain't free you know. (unless you are a great wombler and counter of course)0 -

Or you pay for them yourself. I haven't charged for my bakes. It's cost me nearly £100 in ingredients, boxes etc for the cakes I'm making for my friend's wedding. £15 of that was just for cocoa powder alone. :eek:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
