Been out to check on stash room, can still smell the lager.

Floor has nearly dried but there is only so much you can wash unsealed concrete off with. Would have been ok if happened in Mr TS's workshop as he painted the floor with waterproof paint. We had planned to do stash room too but I was too eager to fill it. :o No way am I emptying it now. :rotfl:

Pilsator is now confined to plastic storage box just in case.

Oh and something weird Mr TS has noticed loads of snails seem to be making their way to garage where we have stored all the apple harvest, he is sure they can smell them.

Anyone else have any problems that store their apples?

Have had an email from Ts to win a £1000 gift card if I tell them how they did on my recent visit. Never had anything like that before even states store I went to.

Have you checked to make sure that none have deteriorated? When they deteriorate, they start to ferment and slugs and snails get attracted by the 'alcohol' smell.
I've not got apples but I've had a surge in slugs lately  I'm out slugging every night with my torch and salt and I'm finding loads more than usual. Last night was a productive one because it had been raining :D

And L'Oreal and Boots have both sent me invites to the Perfect Age event. Now what is that all about?

Apparently you get a consultation and a £5 off £20 if first 100 customers.

There are just sooo many apples this year, the lovely apple smell hits you when you open the garage door! Mr TS checks every couple of days and gets rid of any that are going bad. Think might have to give some away this year. He is a big apple eater 2 or 3 a day so he usually gets through them no trouble. I can't do slug/snail control I'm afraid too much of a wimp. :o
  • Anyone know of any PAYG mobile phones that do 3G going cheap? We rarely use our mobiles. Have just got the freedompop (free calls, texts and data - 200 of each) sim, put it in his phone & it says 'insert sim'. Someone has just pointed out to me on forum that his phone is 2G only! DUH! Didn't realise it was that old, so now I need to get him a new one. Don't want to pay much as so little used. Anyone know of a good cheap one?

The plug in air fresheners worked today. I bought two in store for £4 each.

Not the cheapest things we've ever got but really handy if you buy these sorts of things anyway.

I think I may stick them in for a cc and see what goodies they may sub them with as not many left in the store
