Good morning everyone, dry here now but will hang on before I put the washing out.

    That looks sooooooo good!

    Must avoid, must avoid.

Looking at a possible cruise at the moment, really do not need to eat more before that if we go

Have a good time MKS, you deserve to enjoy yourself :D

Hope the little girl's op goes as well as it can Sarah. Don't forget, your friend may well need someone to talk to.

I have already texted her this morning, saying exactly that, she knows I am here.
I'd just like everyone to know that I always intend coming last in the quiz!!! NOT I don't know how everyone else does it a/ so quick and b/ get the answers right:rotfl::rotfl:

I think that every day, dont think I have ever got all 10 right, or any where close :rotfl::rotfl:

If we don't have any good BNI deals, A are rolling back their Indian meal for 2 to £4 from £6 tomorrow 9am according to a leaflet through our door this morning (those in the plastic bag - includes pilau, 2 naan, 2 onion Bhajis and 2x different curry -1350g bags).

    Edit - currently £6, 2 for £10 instore.

National Curry Week is 12-18th October so there may be other deals around.

Another TMF instore - Birds Eye Chicken Chargrills - we got Brazilian Zest lime & chilli. Currently in the £2 for £2 offer in A.

Obviously need to send the receipt and box flashing off ... so probably more money wasted for me :o.

    Good morning all...

Word of warning about the above.....IF you have already done any of the other TMF promotions with BE this year....stir your senses, wholegrain fish fingers or the fish chargrills to name a few...proceed at your own risk.

BE have been rejecting claims where they identify that you have already tried and claimed....the terms and conditions are woolly and it seems hit or miss if you get your refund on more than one product.

I managed a refund on 2 products this year to the same address but I dont think I will risk a third.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
  • Morning Everyone - Back from my trip around Europe, the river cruise was fantastic value for money. Sisters now safely back in Oz. Missing the laughs though - still hopefully see them Xmas.

Hugs to those that need them and belated Birthday Wishes to all that missed while I was away.

    xx

It sounds like you have a particular cruise in mind ???

if you can give details - ship, ports, length etc then we can all put our collective heads together and then either
    talk you out of it
    or talk you into booking!

is it the QM2 New York and fly back one?

I wish one of the cruise update websites would send me an email with an OMG offer :D

if anyone has given up hope of getting a mailing from John Lewis don't despair just yet. I got 2 this morning both with just one coffee and cake voucher valid until November - oh well better than nothing

also the dreaded letter from sky re price increases on the call package. I've just about made my mind up what we need to do but we have 26 days to react (28 from the date of the letter)
