    Good morning
AJ and Snap sorry to hear you are feeling not well...it always seems worse
in the middle of the night when other folks are asleep :(
I am wide awake as paranoid about oversleeping as need to leave really early to go to London Hospital today for what is a very early appointment :eek:Hoping things go according to plan and will not have to go back for 5 weeks :)Apologise for whittling on but trying to keep myself awake ;)

Hope all is going well at the hospital nanny. It will feel weird to start with but you'll soon get used to it!

My other issue this morning is my suede pixie boots.

a few years back New Look had purple suede pixie boots which were fab. I thought Id try and find more in the sale so at the end of the next spring after checking shops up and down the country I managed to find 2 sale pairs in my size in Llandudno :T

so these have since been sat in a bag with a can of suede protector spray - I think I was hoping that some kind person would spray them for me but that kind person has had better things to do.

I am very nervous about doing it myself incase the purple escapes so the alternative is going to have to be to ask OH (who is going to think I save jobs for when he gets home - corpses on the lawn and boots that need spraying :rotfl: )

Has anyone used the spray and if so was it worthwhile doing and was it fairly simple and straighforward?

I've now got a purple quilted gillet from Mountain warehouse so at least I will look co ordinated (but bizarre) .

Also looking in the bag is a pair of grey suede ankle boots which is a bit of a puzzle - never wear anything grey such a depressing colour so I've not idea where they came from.
I thin k I might be re-figuring out Ebay as well today.

Love purple, its my favourite colour. Your boots and gillet sound great mhoc. :)

Hugs to all the poorly people, sounds like there are lots of lurgies doing the round of the elite!

Booked my hospital transport yesterday, so I'm all set to get to my pre-op appointment on Friday. A simple trip into town on Sunday that involved walking from the car-park, visiting 2 shops and walking back to the car-park made me realise I'm definitely not up to public transport yet, and would struggle to make the very short walk from the train station to the hospital.

My shaws bags were delivered yesterday, thank you very much for the op of that. Ordered 15, so will shove a load in the boot of my car, and some in the boot of DS's car so should be no excuse for having to pay for bags!

did this shop on Friday but was ill all weekend so forgot to check it. The H&S are 3 for £10 in A, but 2 for £7 in S so one compared at full price.
For anyone who needs this it makes it slightly cheaper. I did get a comparison to M but only because they weren't 10% cheaper.

No and it supposedly only hit that twice while we were there it set the hill on fire behind the hotel though :eek:Two helicopters with big buckets flying over us :rotfl:

Only places that I've been where it has hit 50c+ were in Alice Springs and Ayers Rock.

Pretty sure it hit that when we were in Mexico, round all the stone ruins etc.

When we were in Lake Garda it hit 42C.
