This brand stuff has got me thinking. Pre-MSE I was a proper brand snob and wouldn't even go in the car park of places like Aldi or lidl let alone go in one

I have been shopping at both the above for years. these days it does my head in as its packed

Not like the days when people would look down on you for shopping there you were lucky if they had more than five customers at any one time

But what made me laugh was you would see the snobs in there and when they would go out to the car they would pack there shopping in there sainsbobs or m&s bags :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyone know of a good deal on espresso coffee beans 5 +

The best i have found is Lavazza caffe espresso in sada

    works out £12 kg

That's actually a pretty good price. Hubby thinks these are better than Illy. He like very strong tasty coffee as otherwise it gets nil points from him (this is the guy who they wanted as a taster in the US - great palate!) Prices go up & down frequently.

OMG I went in Aldi a week or so back. I thought it was like shopping on Christmas Eve, or the day before. It was absolutely HEAVING! I would have had a look around but the crowds were far too much for me & the long wait to get my 24 litres of milk. Now I know why Aldi & Lidl have both started opening until 10pm from their former 6pm.

I can't stand shops being that full, I'll have to watch when they appear quieter for my next visit.

50,000 steaks being given away at Beefeater
    https://www.facebook.com/BeefeaterGrill/posts/500958060067432

Also check your emails, I've got 1000 points when I next purchase an item from the steak or grill menu :money: Although that email says "cannot be used in conjunction with any other celebratory or promotional vouchers. " so I'll need to split the bill to take advantage of both

    ETA: T&Cs say

One free steak per main meal purchased up to a maximum party of six – that means you can claim three free steaks per voucher, when three adult main meals are purchased at the same time, this voucher can only be used once.
