I still forget to to take bags from the car I have a reasonable number of them too
Me too - when you're in a rush you forget. I usually take the trolley to the car to fill the bags, unless I have a load of small purchases & it's bucketing down.
Those of you who still have shaws bags to buy the LARGE ones are the best buys as they have like a very thick plaited handle whereas the smaller ones have a woven material handle. The large ones though you can't fill to the top, as you'll never carry them, although the bag will stand up to whatever weight you put in them.
However it seems you lot have cleared them already from the warehouse. Bet they've never sold so many since Wales went to paid bags, not that all people here realise they are so inexpensive.

Just got back from buying our new car. 900 mile round trip as usual. Zoomed north after work on Friday. Bought on Saturday morning and drove back on Saturday afternoon.
Saved huge amount of money (albeit on a very cheap car). Met up with family. Two days well spent.
Did the same a couple of years ago, saved over £7k. :j:j0 -

I'll start wrapping my Christmas presents this week and then on Christmas morning its a surprise to me too because I've forgotten what I've bought.
They are also doing till spits for 10% off. Brings the cost of a bottle of perfume down nicely.:D0 -

Be interesting to hang around during the school run too and see how many of them are still smoking with the kids in the car
Theyre not the most intelligent type around here :rotfl:

just nipped up to sainsbobs - not a very MSE trip as we didn't have the recycling with us
but we did find a 34p BM abandoned and we rescued it
on the sainsburys mycoupons page OH usually gets 900 points for a £30 shop but not this week so we didn't spend £30 -and wont until it comes back on the list again which hopefully will coincide with a need for petrol.
OH did get a reduced sugar Fridjj for £1 which will give him 80 nectar points :T
apart from that I just got a few bits and some gravy cat food - I get 200 points for a £10 shop and 60 points for buying 2 kitkats for 80p from mycoupons
but both of our cards gave till spits - spend £20 Tu clothing and get 8p off petrol :T
so 10 nectar points for a litre of fuel and 8p off - a good enough offer.
usually once you have the petrol till spit it gives you 2 weeks to use it.
Tu clothing sadly is very badly fitting“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
