Did we know that Morries had confirmed they were ditching M&M?

It's moving to a loyalty scheme

    Morning

I guess its cheaper for them than trying to introduce a system where people can actually see the comparisons. That was rather frustrating. I do, however, like that they say it's down to listening to their customers. Nothing to do with having a complaint about the scheme upheld then and being ordered to make the match side of it clearer?
There's no mention of more points there. I wonder if they'll carry on that side of it.

  • Good morning all, glorious blue sky out there :D

Louised Welcome back, and feel free to pour hour heart out on here if you need to, mostly someone around to support you xx

Sarah Sorry to hear the bad news, but as others have said kids can be very resilient.
For those that got 6 JL free drink & cake vouchers, had you made a purchase with the card. It seems random as to who gets what. A friend just got one, I got 6 & dh got 2! Neither dh or I had bought anything in JL

I have received nothing, nowt, nada :( I think I am going to sulk.

  • There is 10% off fragrance at Boots. I know its not a huge amount but I had some points to spend so got 495 points off which is better than nothing. I'll start wrapping my Christmas presents this week and then on Christmas morning its a surprise to me too because I've forgotten what I've bought.

I did like the match and more. :) Tesco doing the price match reductions at the till will be interesting, If it comes over here. saves having to wait 24 hours for your voucher to spend. instant glitch :)

Asda will be loving this.. expect some pretty harsh advertising from them soon.

So now its spend £1000 to get a £5 match and more voucher. thats very tempting not. Shop at asda and you will save that instantly

I did a Morribobs shop yesterday - I had a £5 voucher and a £5 gift voucher to use and the shop came to just over £15 - mostly due to OH putting things in that were not on the list :(

This was mainly own brand breakfast and picnic food but I was very surprised to see on the bottom of the receipts
    74p in match points 740
I got 4 lots of s&p buns, Morribobs butter, prime fayre bacon, corned beef, parkin, cherry bakewells, cheap apple pies, bitesize scotch eggs, reduced chicken skewers, Lincolnshire sausage rolls, reduced black pudding and milk.

(yes we have very classy working class picnics :rotfl: )

I had 4200 so now 4940 - edging closer to another voucher.

its a pity about the change. we have to assume the worst which means no more Moor point promotions - I only really did the wine one once or twice - missed the biscuits while we were away.

Also thinking about wombling - it will only be worth collecting very long ones that get carried away in the breeze, normal sized ones which might have only 10 or 20 points on them might not be worth the effort.

yes it seems like every so often one store or another runs a promotion and we all shuttle off in that direction but when its all over its back to the Asda we know and love :)

    Good morning everyone.

Thankyou all for you wishes for my friends grand daughter, as you all say kids are resiliant. She has said that she is not in any pain, and is a very happy little girl, its them and her parents that it is hitting very hard and are finding it difficult to cope, but they will, they are strong people.
