Although in fairness 3 weeks could also imply that the builder was a craftsman and perfectionist as opposed to a cowboy and its not always about speed ....we know not the full facts and I'm sure mhoc is delighted with her new bathroom.

A perfectionist verging on OCD rectifying the mess left by the cowboys who built it originally.
We knew the original plaster was not done properly so in the end it all had to come off down to breeze block, replasteted, Pva d and painted.
The floor was not level, dropped by an inch under the window so the floor had the chipboard removed, floor rebuilt and levelled - otherwise the tiles would have cracked.
The outlet pipe for the shower was actually going uphill so it had to be repositioned.
Builder also repositioned the shower pipe work inside the partition wall so the ugly pipes were not on show and he also boxed in all of the sink, loo and radiator pipes so nothing on show
He also put a built in fitted cupboard over the sink with 3 shelves.
So floor tiled, walks tiled and painted, new loo and sink, new shower base and enclosure and new bathroom and bedroom door, new window blind and chandelier

Every job in this house is a full production, both the old part if the house and the new half - rectifying 2 centuries of cowboy builders.

Yes, new bathroom is fabulous - makes the bedroom look shabby now but when that's painted and floored all of upstairs will be done :)

Mine arrived today too - many many thanks WIRS

Only problem is I registered for an account and it showed that I had no orders. I also didn't get an email of any sort whatsoever from them. So I put in another order for 30 bags. That also not showing on my account. So I tried one last time for another 30 bags. And that is not showing in my account either, so I gave up thinking that I just wasn't supposed to get any bags. And no emails for any of my orders ... so now I am wandering whether I will get all 3 orders

If so, people will be getting their Christmas pressies in Shaw bags this year ... :p

I was told that it was because I logged in as a guest.
    Mine arrived tody. :T
