That's what I think I will do its £17.70 but to be honest the four shops only cost me about £12 so I am very grateful. Thank you to the :A who helped me with the first order.

This problem seemed to start when they started taking the full shop cost out of my bank account and then refunding afterwards. Up until then it worked very well. Their new improved system is not an improvement at all !

As far as I'm aware, you can't offset a loss of this nature as otherwise we'd all be mystery shopping or running some other kind of business at a loss and offsetting it against our paye income (or pension). Taken to the extreme, no one would pay any tax at all. You don't have a "loss of profit," you just have a loss. Aau1 may be able to confirm.

ask me in March. Tax and taxation is the final exam I'll be sitting (but I haven't started studying for it yet :o)

Looks like everyone who's a member of the elite will be able to spot other members or lurkers very easily if they live outside Wales & the West country and are sporting Shaws bags. I'm surprised that I don't see many more people with them around here - at 25p they are a steal.

Can someone remind me why we are buying these bags please:rotfl:

Now I'm unsure what to do about Quidco......I did another 5 on one account this morning and then got a pop up to say that I'd exceeded my quota for the day. However they've tracked. So I don't know whether to do them again in case I lose the cash back on them.

Anyone any ideas when the 24 hours starts?

24 hours after you started :p

I understand your logic - but every year that I have made a loss on the SE bit the loss has been balanced out against the total of my other taxable income ie pensions, interest etc and I have had a refund. I've only paid extra tax over my PAYE if I have actually made a profit. I'm not bothered about getting a refund this year - it wouldn't be more than a few £'s - but I do want to find out what , if anything, I have done wrong with my forms so that at least I can make sure I get it right next time.

Well I went to put a missing 'purchase' in on quidco, for my bespoke visits, and it lists all my bladdy visits, so if they can see I have visited, why cant they track it. They needed the order number for me to raise a ticket, but I have deleted the emails, so sod it, not worth the time and stress for me.
