From what I can gather people are paying the normal offer price so it should work instore (unless you are ordering the one that is £2.09 online and instore but hoping they are OOS and looking for a refund to get the £2.09/£1 APG comparison).

No, buy one of each in one shop/one receipt - by all means buy two lots in two shops (ie separate groups of 8 items) but only one bottle of each (plus fillers if required to make up minimum 8 items)..

You could get up to 8 different flavours and keep below your £10 APG in one shop (but only one at all of Sprite, Fanta Fruit Twist or Fanta Special Edition).

No need to apologise, better to check than pay full price .

So your four flavours plus four fillers (x2 separate receipts/shops if you wish) would work fine.

Forgot to say, bought BNI yesterday, only the curry compared £2.30 T v £1.50 A, garlic flat bread was still N/A (I now seem to recall someone had mentioned it stopped comparing last week sometime, wish I had paid closer attention as I would have preferred a different side order if not comparing ).
