    We actually use tipp ex on the skirting boards to cover small white paint chips its much easier and dries quicker than paint!

    Used it several times in the rentals where we have painted the woodwork before the carpets are laid and it really good at touching up nicks that are made in the paintwork by the carpet fitters.

    Its a very good match for white satinwood paint....but I've never used it for correcting written mistakes.

    I was grounded with no pocket money for an obscene amount of time after spilling some on a coffee table, then trying to get it off with nail polish remover :o
    How was I to know it would take the varnish off the table? :rotfl::rotfl:
    I knew I'd get some form of harsh punishment so i covered it with a doyley to buy me some time because there was a school disco on the following night :D :rotfl::rotfl:

    Who knew tipp-ex could conjure up such fond memories. Thanks Savvy :p
