Savvy...my A had all the white rose and pink sweet pea stuff reduced last week...heavily discounted...but the only thing left were the candles at 50p a pop

So now my post comes after this reply:rotfl:. So, what was I thinking? Comparing candles for a net spend of 91p each (with looking for a trigger) rather than buying them at 50p RTC?:rotfl:

so...do we think that it may have been a red fox that ate my sweetcorn or would that be an accusation in code too far?

  • Who were they with before, and did Sky give a reason?

I can think of no reason why they could stop her keeping the same number. Personally I would contact the previous supplier and find out if the number was being used by anyone else yet, it should not be reused so quickly so should still be available. Ask the old company if it can be transferred.

We are in telecoms, I have heard of a lot of errors on the part of BT (they supply the line for Sky) but that is a bad one.

This happened to me. Sky promised we would keep the same number (live in OH Gran's house she had the number for 30ish years) well we didn't rang up on the day the letter came with the number on. It had already been issued :(

I notice there is some Tipp-Ex in T at 75p. (Trying to clarify what price it is M as I had both £2 and £1 in both stores - the product is in two aisles, says £1 in one and £2 in the other - apparently £1 according to msm, but doesn't matter as T is 75p - I'm waffling:rotfl: - and I don't think stationery is grocery so is non-comparable.) Apparently on offer in T until tomorrow - so, ...maybe best to wait until Thursday to see if any DTD opportunity:rotfl:. Fwiw. (Little things like this that cost "only" 75p. Hardly breaking the bank - I've lost more money down the grids in the street at times:eek:.) Anyway, just decided to mention the Tipp-Ex as 75p seems a low price (better than the usual offers I see of £1). I'm clueless, as RTCs would quite likely go to even cheaper:rotfl:.

interesting fact...or not as the case may be....

We actually use tipp ex on the skirting boards to cover small white paint chips its much easier and dries quicker than paint!

Used it several times in the rentals where we have painted the woodwork before the carpets are laid and it really good at touching up nicks that are made in the paintwork by the carpet fitters.

Its a very good match for white satinwood paint....but I've never used it for correcting written mistakes.
