Got 3 sick kids and a sick DH tonight, so I'm sneaking on for a quick 5 minutes between cleaning up after them, we definitely need all the toilets this house has tonight :rotfl:
If any lurgy bugs come near me I shall beat them off with a stick!
Hope all the elite are keeping well :)

In fact I was also thinking they'll probably ban me from shopping at Mr M with the purchases that I make:rotfl:. What - just buying ice creams at 50p and huge sacks of potatoes at £2, probably items on which they make a loss - they can hardly be making much money from me! Ruthless, my purchases these days (from everywhere) - utterly ruthless!:rotfl::D:D

I even thought whether to put the central heating on the other night:eek::eek::eek:. It's only September! It did feel a bit cold, in the later part of the evening, but fortunately I did not have to succumb to that yet. I do hope the weather stays a bit warmer for a bit longer. Not good to be freezing like winter on September nights:rotfl:.

I've unmothballed the tumble driers :o Oh how I hate having to spend money to dry my clothes. I've not actually used them yet. I'm on a stubborn mission not to use them until October :D

Can't say I've felt cold enough for heating yet.

I think my priorities may be a bit skew whiff because I'm taking delivery of a new car on Friday :D :rotfl: A sort of impulse purchase :o.....cos I'm worth it.

    * said in the voice of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I was just about to justify my purchase but I really can't so I won't. it was unjustifiably naughty :D

    Hey ho :D

I've worked on medical tribunals on and off for years. OA is one of the most common ailments I've seen on them. Everyone who has it describes cold and damp conditions as making the symptoms worse and dry heat easing things. I've even heard a lot of people claiming to be able to predict cold and damp weather on the way because the pain gets worse beforehand. I've no reason to doubt that after the amount of different people I've heard saying it.

I've come across plenty of people who've moved abroad for that very reason.

    Human Barometors? :D

I am better than any weather vane:rotfl:
At scan last week on hands and feet I was told almost everyone has some small sign of OA from the age of 18. It's downhill from then on apparently but most don't notice it at all until in their 50.
