I can totally see why people may have thought that didn't want people searching A's for a RTC that doesn't exist

Sorry that's what I meant - made C&C in henlan's post red to say it's CC and meant RTC in an A store...

I can say a bottle of Le Prince Royer champagne goes well with an Indian Takeaway. :o I do admit it is not the best of champagnes but not undrinkable.

I got out some new Sainsbobs champagne glasses DM and we only got 2 each and a smidgen extra for Mr TS out the bottle.

:rotfl: They sound like delicate flutes

Still bitter about the case I got today....but I am sure I will get over it. Cider making this weekend so all excited :D

Well it's exactly as I said it would be - having a rant about Shopotize putting a cap on some of the weekly cashback offers.

The popcorn has just about reached its limit and it's only day one. Anyone that can't do their shopping until later in the week or the weekend have not had a chance. if an item is on offer and works out cheap after cashback it will now be fully subscribed very quickly.

It will be like this most weeks now so Shopotize will alienate many if their previously devoted fans.

There are just a couple of things from the list that I would buy this week - popcorn for Oh, milk, maybe the soup. I'd then be over the ammount to draw down - not going to happen this week now.

I usually ignore the user survey that comes up when I open the Shopotize app but not now

I checked in store..... whilst loosing my V with the cheese! ;)

DS2 had stupidly set himself the goal of eating a whole block of cheese. I managed to persuade him not to do this tonight. What is it with males, brains and stupid ideas - the worst thing is that he is extremely intelligent (but does not have the common sense he was born with!!)

Tiny, I know it's hard not to stress as much as we try not to. You will have everything ready for the party so take a few deep breaths and start over. If that doesn't work, take a few deep breaths and start over (((hugs)))

bubbs  omg how awful for your sister. At least they are ok, the car can be replaced. Sad about her cat too, what a bad couple of days she has had (((hugs))) to you and sister and her family x

tweets, great to see you are home and ok. Bet you were worried though, at least you got pills to help the pain so it should calm down now (((hugs))) to you and our poppy x

I am so far behind

I had my eye test, need new glasses and being referred to hospital for a check on drainage ducts in eyes  2 hours I was in there would you believe

Right off to watch CBB, might be back later if I don't fall asleep :rotfl:

I would believe how long you were there, the worst waits with my mum were in the eye department at the hospital. Not sure why anything eye related takes so long.

Thanks for trying to put my mind at rest, the melt down as it's been called was actually unrelated to party preps but has had a knock on effect/affect not sure which word I mean there. :o

At least the chilled champagne has chilled me for now. ;)
  • Whilst on our trip to A, I was winding DS2 up a little about lack of morals in todays youth. He quoted Socrates.....

'The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.'

Although he was not word perfect I was rather impressed!

£5 has been the price for twin packs and 550g single packs. I think rrp for 350g is £3 or £4 (to enable the constant offer merrygoround of half price, 2 for £6 etc).
