Good morning0

Good morningWith the CC shop I did earlier this month A took the amount shown on my collection note before evoucher savings and then refunded the evoucher savings immediately (in fact my bank account showed the refund first and then the debit).
My details for Sundays CC show a debit for the collection note total and also an immediate refund - but the refund is a strange sum (about£10/£12 less than the evouchers that I used.
With the first shop the Udis were oos so not charged, on Sunday they subbed the Udis with apple ones which I refused so they said they had done a refund. But I can't work out what they have done - I expected it to work the same way that the first order did ie they would show all the used evouchers as a credit at the same time as the debit for the cost of the shop before evouchers.
I am confused - and, for what its worth, I have NOT had any emails about the system changing . I will look at my bank account again tomorrow to see if anything has changed.
It's really confusing how Asda are taking payment so I started to keep a spreadsheet as I couldn't work out what was happening. It seems now they are putting the full online order price plus 1 penny on hold immediately. It can take upto 5 days for them to take the money. They will take the full amount but immediately refund the difference between this and the amount actually due on your paper receipt as well as any refund due for rejected subs. If like me you do 2 or more orders in a week I recommend keeping a record of what money is on hold and all charges and refunds otherwise it's easy to lose track. I wanted to be sure they were not charging me too much.0 -

No luck for me on the Bella deal. Next Monday is DH's birthday so it would have been perfect for that. There is no branch here but there is one in the town he works in and another in Hemel Hempstead, which isn't too far away. Alas neither had availability
Another one to add to the list of shops we don't have, along with Aldi, Lidl and Waitrose. Our Homebase is closing at the end of the month. Perhaps we will get something interesting in its place.
B&M took over several down here.ELITE 5:2

I usually don't even look at my bank account until several days after my CC - so I only see the amount they have correctly charged for the order ie the expected reduced cost plus after evoucher deductions plus any refunds for rejected items. I've never seen the 1p on hold or the higher amount on hold, just the final totals.
The last but one shop showed differently but it was clear what they'd done ie total cost debit and correct evoucher credit done simultaneously. For the last shop the evoucher debit was a lot less than it should have been. The issue appears to be linked to the difference between oos udis and rejected subbed udis ifyswim. It may resolve itself in a day or two but it's confusing.ELITE 5:2

Same here HG nearest used to be Bournemouth have happy memories there birthday meals using CC tokens even my mum came one time. :A
It's shut down now so closest is Southampton over 25 miles away. I did think about booking as we will be coming home on the Monday from an early birthday present for Mr TS a living social deal stopover so will drive past S'ton. But I know he will want to leave early to carry on with party preparations at home, no way would I keep him out until 6.30 after being away all day Sunday. Embarrassingly I didn't realise the deal was over 3 hours away from home.0
