Kensington would have checked your report at the DIP stage.
Out of curiousity, why that lender if your credit is good?
If they're doing a valuation I'd be confident that they like your case.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.

We are going through Kensington as Im the 2nd applicant on the mortgage with a zero hr contract as I'm a care worker but always work 20hrs + a week and that hasn't changed for 3 years.
My husband has a default from Feb 2010 that is settled.
Thank you for you're reply

Good evening.
I would like to ask your advice about Kensington time scales and process. I've got a Dip although they required more information to get this. How long does it take from application to valuation and offer please.
Thank you0 -
As previously mentioned the process with Kensington isn't the quickest and tends to be quite thorough.
Once your application is submitted they'll take 5 working days to properly look at it. If (and when) they ask for a bit of further information it will take them 5 working days to assess that when received.
They won't instruct a valuation until they're happy with the application overall and I'll let you guess how long it'll take them to assess the report**
I would strongly suggest using a broker with experience using this lender as they require managing if you have a tight time scale.

Hi
Contacted broker 03.10.2016, Kennsington.
We have followed the process start to finish DIP accepted, Kennsington gathered all the info were just waiting for a document stating my previous address four years ago and proof of our gifted deposit which was sent 22.12.2016 when the valuation also came back at the required amount understandably it has been the festive period and new year.
Hoping to hear from them tomorrow as broker advised still waiting for the middle man to re open after the new year. Does anyone know the turn around time generally after valuation acceptance on a mortgage?
Thanks0
