Hiya
I was wondering if someone could spare a moment just to answer a couple of questions for me i am going to Dublin next month got the cheap ryanair flights.
Well i havent flown for years and never with ryanair and i have paid to take on luggage and it say 15kg per person is that right ? as i dont want to pay for excess luggage.
I am not sure about carrying liquids shampoo, toothpaste ect can you pack them in your luggage or do you have to show them in hand luggage?
And even though its a short flight is it 2 hours before booking
if anyone knows could you please tell me
thanks in advance :T

Yes, It's 15KG for hold luggage which is chargeable and 10KG for hand luggage which is free though it must not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. Make sure you check the weights carefully as Ryanair will charge you an excess if you go over the limits.
Liquids can be carried in either hold or hand luggage though you are restricted to items of 100ml or less if carrying as hand luggage.
I would advise putting all your liquids/gels/pastes into hold luggage if you're going to pay for it. That way there is no confusion and you can carry any quantity.
Two hours is the recomended time to check in prior to departure if that's what you meant.0 -
Spot on as ever exel,
I never check in until at least an hour before time (you can do so up until 40 mins), but I'm not advocating it - please don't miss your flight because of me! xGone ... or have I?0 -
If you want some information re: LIQUIDS IN HAND LUGGAGE make sure you check Ryanair's website on the issue. You can also read my thread on or around page 12 of this Travel Forum, "Beware Of Taking Liquids In Hand Luggage!!!" as to my experience and other people's on the issue. GOOD LUCK, HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY & SAFE FLIGHT!!! ~ BLUroma0
