I was working at a remote site today, with a Smart Parking controlled car park.

So despite being correctly parked in a car park you can only access with a company swipe card, and displaying a nice new and correct permit, I came out at lunchtime to find a ticket on my windscreen, for not having the correct permit!

I had a word with the facillities manager at the site, so this will probably get cancelled but I would actually like to see the idiots try to pursue this - Although the chances of that happening in Scotland are slim.

Oh, and apparently the patroller at that site suffers from "anxiety issues" and according to the manager, I did the right thing by not hunting him down to bluntly explain the error of his ways! :D

No, you did the wrong thing. I would have reduced this moron to a quivering pile of jelly.

I'm afraid that's exactly what I tend to do much to the embarrassment of Mrs F!

If its the guy I think it might be, who started at another site last year, it probably wouldn't be the right thing to do - "not all there" is probably the most tactful way to describe him.
