child 19 in November still in education

My son who will be 19 in November has just gone back to 6th form to study Public Services BTEC level three, on a full time course. This is his 3rd year at 6th form as he changed course last year. Does he still qualify for tax credits and child benefit if so will it be the end of the present tax year or the 31st August 2016.

Does the same apply to Child benefits been trying the entitled to calculator but I don't know the end date for child benefit.

Its does say here up to level 3.

I too am in a very similar position my daughter is also taking a btec level three. She will be 19 in December and started a Btec level 3 course on the 7th September finish date end of June 2016. I have found various dates online when child benefit can stop the last day of February, 31 May, 31 August and the 30th November. Can anyone tell me which one will apply.

My daughter has just started her 3rd year of Media Makeup and as this is a level 4 course, our child tax credits and dhild benefit have both been stopped - It seems very unfair, as she is only 18 and the course will continue until she is 19 (which qualifies as a FE age) but because CTC only cover upto level 3 - we are now out of pocket by 85 pounds per week !!
Any advice from anyone welcome please ?
