    Yet, I've got a Facebook friend whose daughter has it. They've had serious issues over the las few weeks getting her blood sugars stable.

    He has type 2 diabetes.

    It is limiting if you rely on insulin to survive. Life expectancy is also reduced by an average of 11 years (more for women).

    I always thought it was Type 1 as well, thanks for the info.

    Op once you've been assessed your ESA will go up to £173 a week. If in support group.
    No point claiming carers allowance you will be worse of as you get sdp instead.
