Hi I have just bought an apple mini mac and wish to store films I have saved on my external hard drive to my new computer.
I am at a loss as have always used windows before.
Where can I store my films please?
Thank you in advance

Why not use the external drive ?
As mac mini comes with limited storage.
But just put them on desktop, create a folder on mac and paste all in there. If you have sufficient storage.
Do let us know the mac experience. As I am thinking to get one for myself, mainly for web and graphics work.0 -

Swedish is very different to English but it's still a language. Time to hit Google and get learning, you will be all the better for it and have a wider perspective of operating systems.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
1. Plug in your HD
2. Open Finder on your Mac (You should see your hard drive on the left hand panel)
3. Create a New folder and name appropriately
4. Select all files from the external Hard drive, copy and either paste or drag to your new folder.0 -
It's not that different to Windows.
All your folders are sub folders of your user folder. Simply create a new folder called Movies or whatever you want and drag and drop the files into it.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
