where can I store saved films on Apple mini mac

Options
Hi I have just bought an apple mini mac and wish to store films I have saved on my external hard drive to my new computer.
I am at a loss as have always used windows before.
Where can I store my films please?
Thank you in advance

  • Why not use the external drive ?
As mac mini comes with limited storage.

But just put them on desktop, create a folder on mac and paste all in there. If you have sufficient storage.

Do let us know the mac experience. As I am thinking to get one for myself, mainly for web and graphics work.

Swedish is very different to English but it's still a language. Time to hit Google and get learning, you will be all the better for it and have a wider perspective of operating systems.

    1. Plug in your HD
    2. Open Finder on your Mac (You should see your hard drive on the left hand panel)
    3. Create a New folder and name appropriately
    4. Select all files from the external Hard drive, copy and either paste or drag to your new folder.

It's not that different to Windows.

All your folders are sub folders of your user folder. Simply create a new folder called Movies or whatever you want and drag and drop the files into it.
