Help! Parking fine at London Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Acquatics Centre

Help! We received a fine for parking at the London Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Acquatics Centre centre outside of the bays (they have described it as 'not parked in marked parking bay' though this was not marked anywhere at all.
Unfortunately we lost the original fine but have now received a notice from a debt recovery company (DRP) threatening court action and asking we pay £150!
I understand that fundamentally the company (Gemini Parking Solutions London Ltd) is not within its rights to impose such a fine and, in any case, we did not park incorrectly and there were no signs indicating we were violating any rules.
We have less than a week to resolve this, so would be very grateful for advice.
Thanks all

Just wanted to add: this fine was incurred on May 27, and am now being told by Gemini Parking Solutions and the Debt Recovery Plus Ltd that it is too late for us to appeal and we need to pay.
Is that true?0 -
Unfortunately we lost the original fine
It is not a fine, it is an invoicee
but have now received a notice from a debt recovery company (DRP) threatening court
DCAs cannot take you to court.

It Its not a fine, it is an invoice, which they are perfectly entitled to send

Why, what happens next week? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
read the NEWBIES sticky thread, especially the section in post #4 about debt collecotrs (and ignoring them)
the PPC has 6 years to pursue the charge, this should have been appealed months ago so its sit back and ignore unless you get genuine court papers
now go and read that thread
ps:- its not a fine, wont say that on any paperwork you have
its a speculative invoice, so treat it as one
DRP cannot fine you (neither can Gemini)
DRP cannot take you or me or anyone to court over these matters0 -
If PPCs were football teams, Gemini would be in the Conference league. Unless they issue a court claim you can safely ignore all their threats, bluster, and red ink.
