csarina, get that shoulder checked out, DH has just had that and ended up with a steroid injection in the shoulder, he says it feels a lot better now, but it took a good couple of weeks for him to see the result.

Ben Labrador left here yesterday - he was such a huge character, it seems really empty now! We got on so well, I could even take one of his mini-bone treats, put it between my lips and go down to his level, and he'd take it from me, ever so gently.:o
Next guest not here til 17th; but we're away for a few days in between times, off up to Yorkshire for our wedding anniversary. Not planning to take the netbook, so will be absent from MSE from Saturday to Tuesday.
Mr LW has tomorrow and Friday off also, so though we'll be pottering at home, I still probably won't get much (if any) chance to post.
Scampi you mind that paw, mate; and do what Mummy Tru tells you!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Crossing my fingers for TA and husband and hope things are looking better.
Youngest dd has spent last night with her sister and her husband at their new rented house as they have moved up North :j
We finished all the bunting and I offered to sew a cushion for her but as she leaves at the weekend and has not chosen what she wants it is not looking likely to be done in time.
Going to a slimming club tonight with one of dds so not going mad with food intake today but bought some fruit and yoghurt to show willing. Bet youngest scoffs it when I am not looking.
Two loads of washing are on the line outside but sky is looking very dark. Want a quick shower and change of clothes before going out later but don't want to risk washing getting rained on.
Parcel has arrived for youngest and hopefully is the one she has been waiting for all week. I still need to sort out airing cupboard and fold the dry laundry so need to get a move on.

Evening everyone, I have to share this, it's made us both so happy this evening. We went to our local for supper as I've been a bit under the weather and was quite tired and Gary and Sharon who we know quite well run the pub. They are very busy with the business and they have a sweet little dog that isn't getting as many walks as she really needs so they asked if we'd like to take her out and we can walk her whenever we want to. They know how lost we've been without Docky and now we can get our routine back and walk her off lead in the morning and I'll do the pavement work with her in the afternoon, it feels like Christmas, Easter and Birthday all rolled into one, think we're very lucky people, Lyn xxx.0

Have a lovely anniversary in "God's own county" (as a Scot I feel disloyal saying it)
Visited the slimming club and tomorrow I will be measuring milk etc and looking up what to cook. Turns out I weigh more than I thought but am nine pounds down from my worst ever weight which is something I suppose.

Evening everyone
Late posting from me.
Went to my local craft group this morning, had a lovely chat with the others there.
Is today dw on and then unloaded. Picked some apples off the tree. Now need to do something with them.
Having problems with ds2(15) now he is back at school. His moods are quite volatile and gets worked up over nothing. He has very low self esteem and I think he is taking alcohol in the house. He struggles at school and says everyone tells him he is stupid. I spoke to school last week but don't know what else to do. He is meant to have a learning mentor and has just gone back into year 11. He has had another couple of outbursts tonight including swearing and threatening me. There will be consequences put in place but feel like he needs more professional help.
TA - thinking of you and your dh.
Mrs LW - you sound so happy, am sure their doggie will be happy too.
Sorry for the long moany post. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.0 -
Lyn, lovely news about the little doggy
Topsy is he being bullied? See if you can get an appointment with your GP because it sounds to me like he is depressed (((Hugs)))Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
