Email Error Help

I cannot get my email but getting this error message. I have uninstall AVG as well."The server responded with an error. Account: 'pop.gioserve.com', Server: 'pop3.gioserve.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90" Your help appreciated. swap to a free gmail account (there is a thread with free ones on here !!)

I get this quite alot with GIOinternet, if you try again a bit later it is usually working again.

after being on for about 1/2 hour

I can recieve mail if i go to the Tiscali Message Center but not through Outlook Express
Is my broadband supplier trying to tell me something?
