Demanding letter from Wright Hassall via ZZPS via CPS

Just so everyone knows I probably shouldn't of ignored the letters until now but I was so annoyed and refused to pay them that I thought best action was to ignore them and not follow them up with anything.

Complaints were made the following Monday but the receptionist would not do anything and they said it was in the system now. I then didn't hear anything from CPS until the 20th March 2015 with a "notice to keeper" letter from CPS.

Again I decided to ignore this letter from CPS but then on the 18th June 2015 I received a letter from ZZPS Limited only this time the charge had gone £100 to £210. I decided to contact ZZPS and complain but they insisted that they would only deal with CPS and not myself. I received a second letter from ZZPS on the 2nd July 2015 for the same amount as mentioned before but it mentioned Wright Hassall LLP.

On the 3rd August 2015 I received a letter from Wright Hassall I decided to ignore this one too as it had no letter head on it and looked very suspicious and decided to ignore that letter. I have once again received this letter with a letter attached apologising for the missing letter head and its a repeat of the original Wright Hassall letter but with the letter head included the outstanding balance is £240.

I was wondering is there anything that I can do regarding this or will I should I seek legal advice from a solicitor? Or should I come to a agreement to pay these fines?

One thing, no two things you can do are
* Read the NEWBIES sticky thread in this forum
* Search the forum for Wright Hassel (Right Hassle) or ZZPS to understand these people are simply an intimidation factory and nothing more. Loads of threads concerning them.

the newbies sticky thread also tells people NOT to open any more threads about these debt collectors , plus these are not and never were "fines" , they are speculative invoices

only come back if you receive an official LBC or MCOL from the PPC themselves

So would a LBC or MCOL only come from ZZPS if I was going to get one? Not from Right Hassle?

I'll look at sending a Debt Denied letter to Right Hassle too.

And I'm guessing that after all the threats and sabre-rattling the letter from Wright Hassall actually refers you back to ZZPS in any event. This is simply a stunt intended to raise the ante with the WH letter actually coming from ZZPS themselves.

The director of ZZPS is the former MD of a former DCA - Roxburghe UK Ltd that went into administration last year and using a tame solicitor's letterheads in an effort to pressure alleged debtors was a ploy they had for years. Their misleading of people was one of the reasons why the OFT refused to issue them a debt collection licence (when they applied to renew it) that led directly to their collapse. Deja vu perhaps?
