I found the Christmas cards I want to buy for next year (I like posh cards at discount prices). Unfortunately they aren't on offer.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. 2. I never, ever shout at people, even when I'm really angry or upset
3. I always let people finish their sentences when talking (which means I say little in groups).

WaS, assembling your hamper was a total delight. And I thought people were wonderful to send presents and messages anonymously - it really was from the whole thread, cos we really appreciate you! xxx
(And the 'five good things' idea just shows how lovely people are on here, cos they are all true!)xxx

Sorry I haven't been around much. While waiting to leave Athens on Sunday, I slipped on some gunge and went flying. Nothing broken but pulled some muscles.
Then I developed the squits, (lovely onomatopoeic word! Sorry Ono!), and was glad I was near the loo on the plane coming back.
The flight back was very good, though. On time, smooth, good service. When I got to passport control, had to dive into the nearest loo!
When I got home I threw up. God knows what I'd eaten to do that!
Anyway, was extremely achey and couldn't do much with my right arm for a couple of days, due to the aches.
It's a lot better but not right yet, and I have another horrid bruise just above where I tore some muscle fibres in my thigh several weeks ago!
Plus a couple of extra ones!Georgiegirl256 wrote: »It's a year ago today that I lost my best friend ever, my hero, my Dad. I can't believe that this year has gone so fast.
The last few days have been hard, I've been reliving this time last year, and the feelings that I let him down have been really strong, and I've been having trouble sleeping.
I just hope he's at peace and I hope that he's happy. I miss you so much Dad.jobbingmusician wrote: »
Just seen that I have posted this while tea is having more problems with FOH. Tea, give yourself congratulations and a cuddle for having had the strength to walk away from this relationship, which would have become even more toxic if you'd stayed it in, by the sounds of things! xxxxx
As others have said, Tea, the timing is suspicious, especially as this all blew up after you went on PoF.

Just to clarify, in case my post made anyone feel bad, these family members do not send cards through the post, and are all friends on Facebook with me and DH so it's not like I'm being impatient. None of them got me anything, so I feel like a thank you isn't that much to expect. So, for next year, what's more insulting? A generic box of biscuits or nothing?
You spend time, money and more time putting together custom hampers.
They do not give you any presents.
They do not even send a thank you for the hampers.
I'd pull the plug on giving them any present at all next year. They are just plain ungrateful and very, very rude.
Welcome to the long-term hummingbirds! :A:A:A
WaS! when I looked at the top photo, I thought one packet said LightUp Condoms! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Light up bonbons would make for interesting diarrhoea!
I thought it said light up decorations, lol.
Yes, JM, you are wonderful to arrange the hamper. And WaS, you are wonderful for being such a kid about Christmas.
tea, has Mr Hot Lips been in touch since the date?
