First Telecom bad practice

Been with First Telecom for years and now find bad practice and poor customer service is happening. I have used an override number to call my son who has an Australia mobile, this was 4p per minute. Without forewarning First Telecom have increased those calls to 14ppm so one of my calls was £7.10 and a call to the bank over £3.90 as 0845 are no longer included.
I was told that as long as they do not change their tariff they can change the cost of calls without notice. Now i am off to find another landline provider. For anyone who is with First Telecom be aware your calls will cost more than you think.

These changes affect all landline and mobile networks. The changes confirm that 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers are premium rate numbers. The call cost has been split into an Access Charge and a Service Charge each separately declared.
For your international calls, you may need to look for a dial-through provider that offers an 020, 03 or 080 number.
In place of 0845, try dialling 0345. If that doesn't work, you should check the official website for your bank for the correct number. Ahead of new FCA regulation that comes into force on 26 October 2015 most banks have changed their 0845 lines over to the matching 0345 numbers but a few have taken the opportunity to reorganize their numbering.
