Yes but you can't request one yourself - you have to use a mortgage provider, estate agent or other company signed up to the scheme.

I got one from Nationwide when I moved last year.0 -
We got one too from Nationwide in December.
Can't say I was that impressed, the best part of it was the trolley coins.
We got some kitchen towel, a plug in air freshener (without a cartridge), a bag of coffee (for a coffee machine we don't have), a single bottle of 375ml flavoured water and some other useless stuff. It was pretty hilarious to be honest.0 -
Just Googled this and looks pretty interesting. We completed on our two mortgages yesterday (one residential, one BTL) so wonder if they offer this? Anything is better than nothing!

I got one from Nationwide when i moved in March.
I thought it was a nice touch even though the contents were a bit pants ... The main memory of it though was the fact the straw out of the box got everywhere ...
I didn't need to contact nationwide ..mine arrived the day after completion.Spelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...
Pet Peeves.... queues, vain people and hypocrites ..not necessarily in that order.0 -
I got one in April.
We were painting and all our stuff was back in our rental before we moved it the next day. That meant no food.
That pack of chocolate digestives was heavenly...0 -
I got a similar sort of hamper in a blue fabric "lunch box" type thing from Halifax in March. It had a small bottle of red wine, picture hooks, a mini screwdriver set, some leaflets, and a small packet of thorntons chocolate things. The rest of just padded out with straw.
Would rather not have got one though as what were we supposed to do with the box? Ended up just going to landfill!0
