Does anyone know if they are okay for tall people?

They vary in the height that the handles can be adjusted up to - check the different brands.

The only thing I can think of is this

Aids are generally aimed at the older generation but many other ages use them quite respectably.

You may have to compromise your desire for something that doesn't make you look like you're 90 i'm afraid.

You can always paint/ use stickers to make it a bit more jazzy.

I'm 28 and have a rather nice purple floral walking stick lol.
I've been looking at these for some time as I'm struggling even more now with the walking stick, especially if I have a bag to carry also.

The appeal is that I would always have a seat and wouldn't have to resort to paying for an overpriced coffee or sandwich just so that I could get a sit down in peace.

I've noticed recently that more and more shopping centres are removing benches and seating areas for reasons only known to themselves, which makes it harder to go out, especially when it isn't suitable to take the mobility scooter.

They had one in the Loyds Pharmacy in town last week. I may have a better look next time I'm at the Health Centre.

I like the idea of using a walker. Does anyone know if they are okay for tall people? I am just over 6ft tall.

That shouldn't be a problem. You get different models depending on brand and you do tend to get different sizes and within that size there is a height adjustable range. As I said in a previous post a physiotherapist should be able to provide you with more specific information and guidance on sizing or alternatively if you buy in store at a mobility aid shop the staff there should offer assistance in sizing.

I have a four wheeled rollator and it's great. I hated it at first as I felt they were for older people but now I've got used to the idea I have to admit it really helps.
Most mobility shops have them in for you to try

Thanks for everyones help. Went to a mobility superstore and got a three wheeled walker. They found me one that the handles extend up. Tried it in shop and it did not look too bad. Found I could have got it cheaper on-line but was happy to pay a bit more so I could try it out and make sure it was suitable
