Hi All,
I received my NtK, without prior notice, for overstaying a free parking bay. The offence date was 6th Aug, and the notice was issued on 24th Aug. This makes 18 days (not including the 2 days postage) which is over the 14 allowed per POFA Sch4 para9 (4 & 5).
Is this strong enough to appeal against the notice? I've used the template so I can appeal against the size of the penalty as well (£100). I also emailed a quick message to appeal but only based on the POFA 14 days limit, but I'm not convinced that's enough, the NtK says to appeal by post or electronic mail, but no email address is offered and the one on the website is shady.

Hi everyone
Just an update to say my notice has been cancelled!
I did a letter using the template on the stickies, I got a letter back from CE saying they'd received my letter and had canceled it.
It just goes to show that it's worth appealing if you've got grounds to protest
