I seem to trust expedia too that's a big like in my opinion . Used lastminute /kayak too . Often use the first choice website for the main summer hols

Can't say I've ever used one site for everything.

I use Skyscanner for country to country routings, e.g. U.K. to Italy, etc...

Then check the fares on Momondo, and book direct with the airline.

For hotels, I use Trivago for price comparison and Booking.com, the latter because I like the layout, photos and maps.

I've had good experiences and good prices with Expedia. I've also used both Quidco and Nectar points to get even better deals. If I've ever had an issue customer service has been good, and when I cancelled a hotel booking this summer they refunded my card instantly.
I can also recommend ebookers. I've had some excellent cashback rates ( up to 18%) on hotels, plus they give you pretty decent loyalty bonuses to use against your next booking.

I've always found Expedia to be expensive in comparison to other sites. For my last holiday I used ebookers & wasn't disappointed, although I'm sure I read somewhere that they were part of the same group.

Not part of the same group yet, but they will be if and when the Expedia acquisition of Orbitz (Ebookers' parent company) goes through.

Must admit I use hotels.com rather than expedia.com for hotels. Owned by the same people, but with hotels.com you can get 1 night free for every ten nights bought. Free night has to be used within a year.

I use topcashback and have often found that they give more back with hotels.com than expedia.com. Currently, booking via a mobile device is about 12% with hotels.com, expedia is 8%.

When Hotels.com started the 1 free night for every ten booked, none of the hotels I booked were ever part of the deal, but it seems to have got much better recently, and I have three free nights stored up.

It really all depends where you are going.
For Med package holiday type hotels, Expedia/Hotels.com are never even getting close to some of the prebook rates from Sunshine, Travel Republic, Quickrooms or Alpharooms etc Most of these also allow you to pay just £1 deposit too,
For City breaks Expedia/Hotels,com/ Booking.com/ebookers are normally up there.

I take it all back Aub, I just checked Expedia to see if anything had changed (as you do from time to time), & it come up cheapest!
