Hi all quick question when you leave bt do you have to return all the equipment ie modem? Thanks.

Depends. If you are beyond the initial 12 or 18 month minimum term then generally no, you do not need to return it.
BT are best to advise, or check the T&Cs.0 -
You don't need to return it, but you will be charged if within minimum contract. Ask BT for a quote to cancel.
