Anyone had this in their PPI offer letter

I got an offer letter from HSBC today I just found the following paragraph odd
"As a result of my decision, it is not my intention to respond specifically to the individual issues that have been raised other than to explain how I intend resolving the matter"
I really would like to know how they reached their conclusion out of interest and they normally do give a little bit more info than this, just wondering if any one else has had this type of vague explanation

I can't exactly remember, I think it's either 5/6 or 7 weeks on Thursday since I sent my claim in, I had a letter from them on the 3rd August saying they were investigating the claim but I don't know if that means I have a claim or not?[STRIKE]Debt3 £1789.07 [/STRIKE][STRIKE]Debt4 £2508.36 Debt5 £2551.69 [/STRIKE]Debt6 £7500.00 Paid in Full[/STRIKE]
