What to do with compost after yield?

Grown some tomatoes, beans, etc this year. The compost seems hardly used, despite roots. Seems a shame to chuck away onto the garden of weeds the compost used. New to this! I'm sure there'll be a thread on this but I can't find one. So if so, please link me to it!

Same here, tomatoes get a bag of fresh stuff each year which then gets dumped onto the planters and mixed with some chicken pellets etc.

Starting some late fruiting strawberries in some of the old stuff, i just want them strong enough to survive the winter to be planted out next year.
