I bought some fakes on ebay a while back, I risked it, but luckly got my money back. I could hardly tell the difference, all the things in the 'guides' seemd to indicate my boots were real but I also have real Uggs from the high street. I compared, the sheepskin was poor in comparsion (even though my boots are years old) and the sole was a lot more rigid. If I didn't have a real pair to compare them with I would have never known. Fakes have come along way, if you don't care or got them cheap maybe that's ok but some people are paying almost the RRP for fakes!
  • i had a nightmare with uggs on ebay. I bought a pair which were actually real but i felt they were too small. bought a size up from another seller but they were fake- after seeing the real deal I knew plus the fit was the same even tho it was supposed to be bigger plus the colour was darker and slightly two tone. l contacted the seller who was actually really nice about it- they genuinely believed they were real so I got a refund. Tried again with another seller and got the same fakes!! This seller was not as genuine- said that their sister got them as a present which was clearly a lie and refused to give me my money but eventually got it back when I reported the incident to ebay. During all this I was trying to sell the first pair. Someone bought them but didn't pay so I had to go throught the non-payment process, wait to get my fees refunded and then relist them only to have the listing removed because I was apparently selling fakes when they were the only genuine pair I had received!! I finally discovered this thread and the LFA one and have found that Uggs to give anyway so I should have just stuck with the first pair. I'm never buying Deckers again anyway. And I don't even like the uggs I bought now and I have 1 real pair and 1 fake pair.
I guess the moral off the story is, avoid ebay if you want genuine Uggs.

    Hi all

Quick question, does Quidco track with Shudoo when you use a discount code? Ive heard say on here that Quidco wont track if you use a code when purchasing, is this true?
  • you won't get cashback from most sites if you use quidco- unless quidco gives you the code

well, i have jinxed myself! After saying i have never had a prob with zuccionline...gggrrr

Ordered UGGs Thrusday nite, chose Sat delivery - paid £7.95 for the honour as well, anyway they didnt turn up yesterday! Website says any order placed by 4pm will be delivered next day so i though that by ordering Thursday nite for Saturday delivery was all ok!

I know a few others here have had issues with zuccionline and deliveries recently, has everyone elses order turned up? I know sat delivery is by special delivery royal mail where weekday deliveries are with a different method

Gonna call them in the morning to see where my boots are, and obvioulsy request they refund the additional postage i paid for Saturday delivery lol

You`ve just reminded me. I must ring them tomorrow too.

Well took them back to USC and they agreed they were faulty and gave me a refund. I have emailed USC to see if I can buy them for £160 as they really were my favourite pair of Uggs as I could wear them in the rain.
  • Right, sorry firstly because I don't have time to read through the 459 pages of this thread lol !! :)

If not were are the REAL ones cheapest at the moment?

Thanks for any for a newbie who would really like a pair of shortish chocolate brown or chestnut ones size 6/39??? :D

  • Just been browsing on ebay - I know its a minefield of fakes - one seller states that all genuine UGG Australia boots are made in China - is that true?
If so are there any other tips for spotting the fakes?

  • If you mean Deckers Uggs- the ones eveyone is wearing that have Ugg on the heel, yes, they are made in china.
Shudoo have a sheepskin sale on an you can use the discount code DARE20 for a 20% dicount. There are lots of Ugg type boots and not just the Deckers ones. Other than that I believe Zucci are having a sale but apparently their customer service is poor.
Avoid ebay like the plague if you want Deckers. I personally think Deckers are overrated anyway.
