well...classic tall black uggs are just about to come out of the machine, hopefully still in one piece!
I crossed a very muddy field in them the other week and despite letting all the mud dry and brushing it they were still ingrained with an orange stain. I figure I have nothing to lose with washing them now and it may serve useful for you guys to find out how I go on :)

a bit of advice. I'm normally a 7/8 and if stores did half sizes, i'd say 7.5. I got a pair of 7.5 UGG Cardi boots but they seem a BIT snug. I tried on an 8.5 Argyle boot the other day but they seemed too big. I've heard that Cardi boots stretch so do you think it's worth keeping them and waiting till the give a bit or should i get the next size up and wear thick socks?

They all stretch- trust me, get the snug pair and they will expand! I'm a UK7, My Uggs say W7 which makes them a UK5. They are old but they do fit well- think its as they are wider I can get away with a smaller size but its safe to say get the size down then up as they do give quite a bit!

    Hi

There are 444 pages now to read, so can someone please give me advice as to which size to buy? I am a standard size 5 (or 38) and want to get the sheepskin boots.

Also, I read elsewhere that the Celtic Boot is exactly the same but with a different badge - is this correct? If so, there's a nice saving to be had. Another thing I would like advice on is spotting the poor quality copies - how do you know they are fake?( unless the China address is the give-away).

Finally, does anyone have a link to reputable UGG supplier? Ta.
  • Go a size down in Ugg Australia or LFA, same with Love Sheepskin - these are sheepskin boots similar to Uggs but not such a hefty price tag.

Office do Love Sheepskin, Shudoo or Asos are great for Uggs - especially if you can find a dsicount code.

There is a list of official stockists on the ugg australia website & personally I wouldnt buy from anywhere else as the fakes can be very difficult to spot.

Bank, USC etc all have sales on atm with some styles of Ugg boots.

Unfortunately I am still hunting for a new pair of Chestnut Talls for under £190 as no-one has size 6 in stock except Shudoo & I cant find a code at the moment for them! lol

    Happy hunting.

Hi Beenie, basically anything too good to be true price wise will be fake. The best you're gonna get is about 20 percent of rrp. People on here have bought from bank, office, top shop, cloggs shudoo. M&M direct have huge savings and are genuine but you don't see the classic in the sought after colours or in a 38. I am size 5 and the 4.5 fit perfectly in the classics. In leather uggs I have the 5.5 as they are a 38. No genuine site will have ugg in website address apart from ugg austrailia. That site will have websites of genunie uggs. Don't buy from a site with just email address for contact. That's the quickest way of knowing they are fake.
