I know its shocking! As I thought they had sent bronze by mistake but girl said the color I got sent is all they have! Then they refused to give me my postage charge back as it cost me almost £10! Had to fight to get them to agree to give me it, tryed saying its their fault I'm having to return as i wanted gold as stated on their site but they sent he wrong color. Eventually agreed to give me it but not recieve refund yet to know if I got it back. Really annoyed with them!!

From what I have seen there are two types of gold uggs, one is this one and the other is this one (which is also known as "soft gold" and i think is the one you're looking for?)

The darker gold is quite similar to the bronze one here but isn't as dark. Which one were you sent?

  • The boots from M&M are the same as these ones:

I think karenx already confirmed that earlier.

it was karen's description that made me buy them. i really hope these are the ones i get :j

Funny isn't it - I dislike the light gold, but love the bronze. I just wish they did the bronze in shorts...!

  • Regarding the 'gold colour' issue I think that they change the colours and rename them accordingly. I purchased 'tall gold' two years ago for £200 and they are a bronze colour. They are the same as the ones on the M&M site so I would say they are selling old stock, not actally giving a false description as such. The pale gold followed and I presume these replaced the dark bronzey gold. They now have short 'copper' which looks like the original dark bronzey gold. These have a cream interior rather than the dark brown mine have. The new tall metallics are now in a marbled finish and are in copper and nickel.
  • where can you get the new metallics? The nickel sounds interesting; I'm still hunting for the pewter ones.
