also jojo, what's the sizing like? x

Sizing is like uGGs i think, i'm normlly an 8, but bought a 7, i bought the venus ones, at the bottom of the clearance page. I didn't wear socks when i wore them and after having them on for the day, i did have a little bit of black on my ankles from the sheepskin, not a lot, but thought you may want to know.

I have been an Ugg australia wearer for the past 6-7 years. I was thinking of buying some new short black ones I wear Uggs a lot and usually replace the most worn pair around this time each year but I do really feel they are getting a joke with the price hikes every year.

I see so many people strolling along in their fake Ugg Australia boots and wonder if its time for a change... afterall I'm paying £150 to wear a certain brand yet theres a chavvy teen with their ankles sloping on the pavement with Ugg Australia on the back label!

After much though I have just ordered myself a pair of Whooga's, it was a choice between those or Just sheepskin but I'm not keen on the front seam on JS so chose the whoogas. I admit sadly I am label conscious and I dont buy fakes so choosing another brand was a big decision but I have noticed this year they have started selling alternate brands in designer stores all of equal quality, all lovely thick lined and sheepskin uppers and all still priced at around £100.

I entered the Whooga comp and they emailed me a 15% off code so just paid £63 including delivery for a short pair! :money: I remember the days when I could get Ugg Australia boots for less than that but hey ho. ;) If they arrive and are as nice as they claim to be then I'm following a new label. :D
  • Lol! I read the do's and don'ts and then had sleepless night as boots ordered from shodoo had some of the do's and don'ts. I now have a NUS card so bought a second pair from bank retail store and got 20 percent discount. These boots didn't have the care leaflet and didn't have the strong smell like the shoodoo ones.
  • Hi I have just purchased the shudoo ones and reading the above post..are you saying that these are fake??? I paid £95.00.. worried now!!!!!

I hope they work out for you mookie:D I don't see it as following a label, i love the style, shape and fit of the UA boots and thats why i wear them. I haven't liked any of the other sheepskin brands in the same way, but i'm always keeping a look out for a new cheaper alternative. The whoogas look quite nice, but i couldn't order without trying on first - great price though:T

I do agree with you about the price. I've been lucky in that i've never paid full price for any of my UA boots, and wouldn't consider doing so either as i love a bargain too much. My first pair of tall chestnuts cost me £90 in the US, and my second pair of short gold metallics cost me £80 from ASOS. My newest pair of uggs are the grey Mayfaires which i bought in the US this summer for £82 - i love them so much but would never have bought them here as they retail at nearly £200:eek: Although having said that i probably would have just bought them anyway using a shudoo code or similar to ease my guilt:rotfl:

Shudoo are an authorised retailer and sell genuine uggs, so don't worry hun. If for whatever reason you're unhappy with the pair you receive you can just send them back (free returns).

  • No, it was just because I read that they are not supposed to have a strong smell. Fur not supposed to shed and the care leaflet is supposed to be embossed. I went to town to compare them and decided they are genuine.

Me too, I have always managed to seek bargains, except for my very first pair I think they were from sole trader and i paid full price but that was before I had the internet :rotfl: Problem is the $ rate and a lot of companies no longer ship to UK has really made it hard to get bargains like they were.

I read reviews on the whoogas and one said they fit very much like the UA. Some other brands are cut different the Just sheepskin boots are rather wide looking and I have had LFA boots and found them to get a bit hot inside.

If they are not as nice then i can return them but I really want to try them and see. I like the look of them. I still have a brand new pair of tall chestnut UA's to wear this year that i forgot i had last year :o My DH has said he'll pay for UA's as its the only things I own that I wear out lol but I just feel if i can find another brand its money I can use against other things. Although saying that if the whoogas let me down I'll be taking him up on it quick before they sell out everywhere!
