    1. Warmth- and ability to not make your feet sweat (the wonders of natural sheepskin) whilst making very sure that your toes never ice over the way other shoes seem to.

    2. Brand- they are a cult product, wearing them is a way (just like with any other fashion/item of clothing) to communicate a statement about yourself (there are many psychologist and philosophic writings about the communication through your clothes) and Uggs are part of them. Wearing them can communicate many things, from wealth, fashion status and comfort through to social group and approx. age even. Uggs are a cult product, like it or not, they do reflect the wearer.

    3. The genuine ones do not fold over at the heel and retain the shape -hence the importance of getting Uggs and not fake Uggs.

    4. They last for YEARS! I have had mine for 5 years now. They are still going strong. I wear them every day for months each year (aside from random pump days) and they have paid for themselves several times over. I normally chuck a pair of shoes every few months as they fall apart. Uggs do not.

    5. They don't look that bad to everyone- we all have different taste and if everyone had the exact same desires and taste the world would be a very dull, single minded and disturbing place.

I just ordered some EMU stingers in orchid pink uk size 3 from Amazon for my daughter for £23.70 other colours and sizes were up to £90.

My emus are still in great condition from last year so I am waiting for a bargain pair for me in chocolate.

I tried UGGs on in TKMaxx but prefer Emus.
