hey what we going to talk about once we all have our boots ?

We will have to talk about where we've worn them lol.

Let me know how you get on with the Wilko stuff. I love Wilko second only to Home Bargains.

have given then the 2 coats and just leaving them overnight now

wore them again today - went to find some skinny jean so could wear them out as it were - jeez not a pretty sight - im just not a skinny girl
no one over a size 8 should be allowed to wear skinny jeans ive decided - maybe a size 10 at a push ( im a 12 !! )

just feel its a shame to have my lovely boots always hidden under slouch cut jeans :(

have also decided i should have ordered chocolate - not cos of the label stuff - just i think they do actually look great !!

Go for the lovely long jumpers/dresses in Primark (£10) or Peacocks (£14). They look great oe skinny jeans but hide all the lumpy bits at the same time!
  • I wear long tops over my skinny jeans (I'm a size 10) and I think they look better.

Me too - I am a size 10/12 with mammoth thighs and I'm a short @rse so skinny jeans look awful on me too

I'm keeping the short Chocolate ones to wear under baggy jeans, and the long Chestnut ones to go with skirts etc (actually, I prefer the fit and look of the Aussie made Chestnut ones :rotfl: ).

hi, dont know if you're still following this thread but what were your boots like from taylor shoes, were they good quality, good stitching etc and were they made in china, whats your label like inside? alot of questions i know but dont want to end up with another dodgy pair. has anyone else bought from these before?:p
My boots are gorgeous. My chunky legs let me down a tad as I wont be able to tuck anything in them, but hey ho!! They are Made in China and the label is fabric and stitched between one of the seams. For my Ugg boots and a pair of Black mammoth Crocs including post and customs I paid about £140, which is cheaper than UK prices. I arent an expert so dont know if they are genuine. I do think though I would have struggled to justify going into a store in the UK and spending £100 on footwear...............
I have used Taylor Shoes all summer for many pairs of Crocs (whoops not moneysaving again) and have always found them very efficient and helpful.
    Hope this helps.

I ordered the Storm foot defender spray from the recomended site earlier on and have had such a nightmare getting it. After 10 days had passed I phoned and they said there wasnt an order on the computer etc, I explained that the money had been taken from my bank account, they were going to ring back but didnt. When I called back they said they would send it out. When it arrived it was the cleaner not the waterproofer/protector....so all in all very disappointed and went to Brantano and got some Kiwi protector!!
