Are the cardy ones fully sheepskin lined or just the footbed?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I've just had a look at these on the M and M website and wondered how do you wash them? They look like the would get dirty very easily. Can you just stick them in the washing machine?:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0 -
says to hand wash them. I had not really thought about keeping them clean, maybe I wont wear them in the rain incase they shrink too lol0

Hi!
I've just purchased myself a pair of UGG boots yesterday. After a careful research and having read through the forum I decided to buy from bootbarn.com also using a discount code.. Originally I wanted to order from cozyboots.com but with a customs charge it would have worked out not much cheaper than from uggaustralia.com... However my mind is not at rest now as one of the prev posts does not contain www.bootbarn.com as UGG australia dealer:I emailed Deckers a few weeks back to query about authenticity of a couple of sites, and here's the response I got today.. it was what I expected.
"
Dear Ugg Australia Customer,
Thank you for your email. I apologize for the delay in my response. In regards to your inquiry, if you purchase an UGG Australia product from a retailer that is not listed here http://www.uggaustralia.com/About/dealerLocator.aspx, or any website that is not www.uggaustralia.com, www.nordstrom.com, www.cozyboots.com, or www.amazon.com, we cannot guarantee the authenticity, quality or performance of that product. We will not accept product for authentication if purchased from unauthorized sources, nor assist with disputes relating to such purchases. UGG Australia works closely with our retailers to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is given to our customers for all of our products.
Thank you for choosing Deckers Outdoor Corporation. If you have any further questions, please contact us again.
Have a great day,
Jaci Bird"
Once I placed my order £117 were taken out of my account straightaway and I don't have a clue when boots will be delivered.. Presuming there will be a customs charge of £20-30 my boots will end up costing me around £150 and no guarantee that they're not fakes? Having spent that much might as well have purchased from official website for £30 more??I started panicking and called uggaustralia customer service line.. having got through to an operator I've explained th situation and asked if bootbarn is one of their authorised dealers?? He didn't really know and his advice was to cancel the order and buy from official website...
I absolutely cannot afford spending so much on the pair of boots..I went to my local tesco's tonight and spotted 2 girls wearing a pair of UGG boots that had all the atributes of genuine UGGS however both girls were students and didn't really give me an impression that they would spend £150 for a pair of boots?? No disrespect!
I feel I've been robbed.. Should I cancel my order before it's too late and save myself 70 quid and order fakes from elsewhere since you can't tell the difference??
Any comments would be much appreciated?0 -

I can confirm Bootbarn boots are 100% genuine I ordered 2 pairs last year and 1 pair this year. Several other MSE members bought from there last year with no problems.
They have been running long enough to be assured their stuff is ok. Ugg Australia give varying info last year a queried a pair of boots with them that a friend had bought, they told me from the pics they looked genuine but they really werent! I could see compared to my boots there were too many differences and they were a lower grade as far as quality. I think there are a lot of american sites selling them that Ugg Australia cannot confirm they may have accounts with them under another trading name for example if they have a store in the US but sell on a site or they may be filtering stock from companies that have accounts. There are lots of boutiques in my area selling them and Ugg Australia do not show them as being stockists but they are expensive designer stores and definately genuine.
The sites to watch are the newly set up sites with tell tale signs like what have been mentioned in the last few pages of this thread.
I hope this info helps, and I know you will be absolutely chuffed with your boots from Bootbarn, they will send you a tracking number from UPS and you can fully track their delivery. Dont worry0
