my boots have arrived this morning

funnily enough my hairdresser was here wearing her very real ones

the only difference is that hers were made in china and mine in australia and the quality of the inside label - mine looks all cheaper and hers looks and feels different

it has made me wonder whether these are fakes but if they are they are very very good ones
just hope mine look as good as hers do in a years time !!

*edit hers was also significantly shorter than mine tho both were meant to be short so in conclusion i do doubt there authenticity if im honest*

Where did your hairdresser buy hers from? Maybe hers a the fakes  I'm not having a go as I have no idea which are and are not fakes... unless its blatantly obvious of course... I've ordered some from aussiedirect so I hope they are genuine.

Hi, I measured my feet against a wall like on their site and have ordered a US mens 7. I normally take a 5 or 6 English so that sounds about right. I also measured my other pair and found the measurements quite similar. I think NZ sizes are the same as ours so maybe they quoted the wrong size to you. Its probably best to measure your feet and work it out from the measurements on the site. Or maybe even measure a few pairs of your shoes and see how they compare, I think if you have the Ultimate boots they're a bit snugger than the flat slab bottoms but they stretch so you need them tight to start with. and the US sizes are generally 2 sizes above ours.
    Hope that helps a bit.

I can you quide me on the Kiwi Sheppskin sizes - they've just replied to me and said their US 8 is the same as a UK size 8?? I thought from reading some of these posts that the US were 2 sizes bigger than us? I measured my feet as it said on the site and this guided me to the US 8 - however, if they actually are UK 8 they will be far too big!!! Oh what to do...
  • This US site also has the uGg Australia boots with prices at £119.99 for the short classic and £149.99 for the tall. They seem to be out of stock in some size/colours though.

They have better shipping offers than AussieDirect:

The express 3-5 day delivery is $35 but if you are buying two pairs it is $39. They also give you the option of standard first class post (no insurance) for $15 (or $20 for two pairs).

On the crocs thread I've noticed lots of people bought their Crocs from there and the standard 1st class postage arrived in a week and didn't get charged customs tax.

It is a risk though as you could still be hit for customs (unlike Aussiedirect) although the postage discounts if buying >1 pair might possibly negate this.

I've had my confirmation of my order from AussieDirect and can't wait to get my boots. :j

she got hers from selfridges so i really do doubt hers are fake and they were £120
i remember thinking OMG when she was telling me last year but she has pretty much worn them constantly for 12 months and they do still look great

I hope they're not fakes, but like i said earlier, they have loads of positive feedback... so I doubt they are. People would have rumbled them by now, surely. I will be studying mine very carefully when they arrive though, lol

  • Hasn't someone already contacted UGG Australia Head Office and they said Aussiedirect sell both authentic (and non-authentic) boots and that some are indeed made in Oz?
