I received 6 point (don't know how they're given)
I don't understand how I failed, if yous read my previous threads I'm very poorly and on the day especially I was having one of my bad spells.
I don't know where to go from here.
It's like trying to get benefits is harder than actually finding a cure for me.

Hi sorry to hear regarding your problem, If you have a local Citizens advice Bureau in your area , I would make an appointment to see them, but firstly I would phone ESA department and ask for a statement of reason ie why you failed, this will be sent by post, then you can appeal there decision, probably with the help of the CAB as well.
You may get more reply's on this site further in the day to help you, but hopefully you will get sorted.0 -

Yes I will be receiving it shortly apparently.
In the meantime I've been advised to join jsa, which I'm afraid they might want to send me for activities etc and I am genuinely unwell and symptoms kick in any time.
Don't wanna rant in here as I'm here for advice but I keep thinking to myself... There are evil people out there who have or would harm others, how are they living normal life's and I'm here in the prime of my life stuck being ill.0 -
Have you looked at the descriptors? Being unfit for work doesn't always mean you qualify for ESA.
You're unlikely to be sent on work activity in the time it takes for the mandatory reconsideration to be looked at. Apply for JSA as soon as you can to avoid missing payments. Also if you're in receipt of housing benefit/ CTB let your local authority know so they don't suspend your claim.0 -
http://www.meassociation.org.uk/ has some useful leaflets about claiming benefits.

They also have some local groups - see if there is one in your area -

I remember your previous thread, did you go to see tbe private consultant? Were you able to submit any evidence on your condition?0
-
Tomtontom yes I visited a private gastro physiologist. Wasted £350, he thinks I may have a functional bowel disorder/sluggish bowel but says I'd be better off seen by a gastroenterologist who specializes in neuro-gastroenterology. Wish I went to one of those before I spent 350 but oh well.0

Have you looked at the descriptors? And did you submit evidence?
I know private healthcare is expensive, especially at times like this, but if it means getting your payments back it is worth paying for. Maybe email the next consultant before making an appt, they're not going to go into diagnosis at that stage but should at least be able to say if they feel they can help.
And if they won't speak with you via email - definitely don't waste your money on an appt!0 -

To be honest I did have a long thorough conversation with the physiologist, he made me do a breath test to check if I'm producing bacteria in the intestines (which I'm not), he explained things to me very well and told me what he thinks I might have but in the end explained how I will be better off seeing a different doctor, he gave me a list of names to choose from all who he believes can help me.
It was good in the sense I got to speak to someone who sort of understood the situation but wasn't £350 worth.0 -
Yes I did send them evidence of this. *0

I reccomend joining "Benefits and Work" http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/ it's a brilliant site, independant of the DHS, that has adive and guides , it really is a big help, and I'm pretty sure it has info on appeals, best of luck, I know how hard it is to get ill at a young age,you don't need the stress of losing benefits tooMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE0
