Good morning all,
A lovely day today, popped out for a few things I couldn't buy at Lidl yesterday. I now have a big pot of minced beef, onions and tomatoes cooking. I will make this into shepherds pies later and freeze them, so when I am feeling lazy I can just take it out of the freezer, I am truely in Autumn mood.
Himself has filled the garden bin up with conifer cuttings because we have a collection this week and he still has enough to fill it up again. He has cut back a lot of greenery in the garden and it has opened it up considerably. I understand, weather wise, it should be good for most of this week so will probably manage to do a bit more. I really don't know how we both managed to go to work:):)
Have a good day all

Very cloudy here but I have hopes about it clearing up.
. Allegedly a meter reader is coming between eight and ten but I am not convinced he's going to turn up as I was previously told that they only come to this area on Thursday. I would love to be surprised and wrong.
Well, of course he didn't turn up! Then I spent almost three hours on the phone to nPower (two operators hung up on me after calls lasting 35 minutes) and now they have 'an error on their system' which will take 90 working days to sort out.
Went out into the garden to work off my anger, cleared large areas of dead flowers, collected poppy seeds and planted them in rough ground.
Cup of tea is due I reckon though I feel more like a glass of mother's ruin.0 -
Evening all,
Busy today as I am back to work. Not terribly organised chaos as usual.
Managed to get the washing dry, don't think the sun can make up it's mind today
Judi - This was the first Summer me and DH have been 'childless' and I have been pleasantly surprised at how nice it has been even though DS2 did come to Spain with us, we have had plenty of time alone. Praise be to the driving licence :rotfl:
Scrumped a few apples and pears this morning while out for a walk. I wonder why the farmers harvest most fruit but leave some?

Has your DS2 become a 'babe magnet' too? Jeez he's fighting them off! :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
