My car insurer has put my old car and new car details on my new policy-thus rendering me uninsured accourding to the police when they took my car off me and inpounding it,you can see on the policy were they have made the mistake..anybody know if i can claim costs etc from the insurance

Did you not check when they sent you your policy? You have to take some repsonsibility for this

Having said that give them a call to see if they cn resolve it - if indeed it was their mistake

They should be able to listen to your phone call to ensure it was their error
